PredictHQ Achieves the AWS Travel & Hospitality Competency

SAN FRANCISCO – January 10, 2024 – PredictHQ, the demand intelligence company, announced today that it has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Travel & Hospitality Competency. This designation is a trusted indicator of expertise and best-in-class technology solutions and recognizes PredictHQ as an AWS Partner that helps customers and the partner community build and deploy innovative Travel & Hospitality solutions.

Achieving the AWS Travel & Hospitality Competency distinction differentiates PredictHQ as a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN) that has demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success supporting Travel and Hospitality organizations. The AWS Travel and Hospitality Competency was launched in December 2020 at a crucial time for the industry as it looked to innovate to address changing demands in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. AWS Travel and Hospitality Partners provide technology products and services to accelerate the industry's modernization and innovation journey from behind-the-scenes operational efficiencies to guest-facing customer experiences. These include a 360-degree view of the customer and operational data, digital customer engagement, connected experiences with smart assets, and modernized core travel and hospitality applications.

"The AWS Travel & Hospitality Competency serves as affirmation to the immense value PredictHQ brings to the industry," said Campbell Brown, CEO and Co-Founder of PredictHQ. "It validates our team's expertise in helping travel and hospitality organizations use data to make better decisions around operations, yield management,  and resources to deliver better experiences to their guests and ensure higher revenue."

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify APN members with deep industry experience and expertise.

PredictHQ’s event data is used by companies such as The Data Appeal Company, OYO, Accor Hotels, Duetto, Launchtrip, and OTA Insight to anticipate and plan for changes in demand from events by creating  more accurate demand forecasts and adjusting labor, supply, and pricing strategies accordingly.

With insight into the events driving demand for travel and bookings, these companies are making data-driven business decisions to improve dynamic pricing to optimize revenue potential, optimize staffing and supply, getting the context as to why people are traveling and which types of events have the biggest impact on their businesses for companies focused on tourism, consumer behavior, and much more.

"For hotels in Las Vegas, the last-minute move of the major music festival EDC, from Los Angeles a couple years ago, caused complete and total chaos. This moment is just one of many examples of the necessity to have dynamic data for events and the missed opportunity for those that lack that data.” – Ravi Chandrasekaran, Head of Analytics at Duetto
